International Investment Associate
This role will be responsible for assisting the firm's advisors in our global offices with new business development.
Cross Border Wealth is a U.S.-based global investment advisory firm specializing in cross-border financial planning and investment management for U.S.-connected individuals living abroad. Headquartered in New York, with offices across the United States and Asia, we help globally mobile clients navigate the complexities of investing, tax planning, and wealth management across jurisdictions.
As the firm continues to grow its global presence, the firm is expanding and looking to hire an International Financial Associate | International Investment Associate to work in its Manila, Philippines office.
The candidate is expected to support our team of International Investment Advisors in driving new business. This role involves coordinating sales initiatives, preparing prospect materials, and collaborating with client support in onboarding new customers.
This is a unique opportunity, as the firm's business is highly specialized with minimal competition and works in an underserved market. The firm will provide training, an expansive database with qualified leads and full administrative support.
International Financial Associate Job Description and Responsibilities
- Support Investment Advisors in contacting prospective clients to introduce the firm, qualify leads, and schedule meetings
- Assist in executing sales strategies, tracking pipeline activity, and managing follow-ups with prospects
- Prepare for prospect meetings, including customized investment proposals, performance reports, and documentation
- Respond to client inquiries regarding account status, product information, transactions, and documentation
- Coordinate account openings, transfers, and ongoing servicing in collaboration with operations and compliance teams
- Maintain CRM and ensure accurate recordkeeping of client interactions and documentation
- Liaise with internal teams (investment management, marketing, operations) to support advisor and client service initiatives
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory standards and internal policies
International Financial Associate Qualification and Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience, preferably in sales.
- Demonstrated sales and business development support skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Experience using Microsoft applications & CRM platforms (HubSpot)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-demand environment
- Bachelor’s degree required; FINRA licensing preferred but not mandatory
- Phone sales experience
- A proactive team player who takes initiative and ownership of responsibilities
- Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality client service
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills, natural English speaker
- Strong code of ethics
